A neologism (/niːˈɒlədʒɪzəm/; from Greek νέο- néo-, "new" and λόγος lógos, "speech, utterance") is the name for a relatively new or isolated term, word, or phrase that may be in the process of entering common use, but that has not yet been fully accepted into mainstream language.
I think I was 16 before I realized that Gluderkin wasn't a real word. It was a word as far as I was concerned. It was a word that I had heard a hundred thousand times.
Afellerotta (a-feller-otta) - A fellow ought to ....
Gluderkin (glu-der-kin) - Go to work and....
These words were frequently used together. Afellerotta gluderkin ...... you finish the sentence. It was the world I grew up in.
